I met Betsy at the Kennedy School when she was a Fellow in the Centre for Public Leadership filming a series on "Mountains and Leadership". We subsequently shared politics in Canada when Betsy was the federal candidate in Peterborough Riding. We experienced the tough political challenge as a national team. It is a great pity Betsy will not have the opportunity to serve Canada in its Parliament. She is wonderfully experienced in public policy and a gifted and inspiring speaker.
